Add Fund to Paypal in Malaysia

We've heard a lot about withdrawing fund from Paypal, but what about adding fund to Paypal?

I am not an expert in Paypal but I've done a bit of research and this is what I got:

1) You cannot use local banks to transfer fund into your Paypal account. We know that this can be done in countries like US, Denmark bla bla bla and Singapore. Yup, but not in Malaysia. Why? I don't know, should ask Central Bank of Malaysia.

2) If your purpose of adding fund into Paypal is to do stuff like shopping online, do not worry about it because you still can make the purchase, eventhough your Paypal account shows your amount is RM0. Your credit card or debit card (provided there are credits in your debit card) would still work for you. For credit card users, you will only need to make the payment when you pay the monthly debt in your local bank.

3) If you insist to add fund into your Paypal account, one very common way is looking for internet traders who can exchange their Paypal with your money (eg Maybank2U or other form of money). This practice is not really recommended by me because you need to put some effort to find a better deal (higher currency convert), and there are a lot of fraud in exchanging Paypal too. These traders can be found in forums, but remember always be careful when making the deal.

4) Perhaps a safe way to generate fund into your Paypal account is by selling things, whether it is tangible or intangible products, eg help others to design logo or sell certain softwares. This is slower but a safer way :)
